Walk though the old town of Bo-Kaap ad it’s small streets packed with colourblocking houses. The following district is De Waterkant with nice restaurants and bars. One of the nicest spots is the brunch place Loading Bay. Beside coffee and breakfast you also get fashion and beauty in the integrated concept store.

2.

Do a beachday - don't leave before sunset - at Clifton second and third beach. Gorgeous beach with eye-catchy bungalows behind you and the endless ocean in front. Take a bottle of wine or beer with you because you can't buy alcohol down there. But trust me, once you are down their at golden hour, you will want some.

Climb lions head hill. It takes around two hours - not liek the guides say one hour - because you will stop many times to marvel at the fascinating surrounding. When you come to a crossing, take the right route. More climbing actions but also more exciting. Arrived at the top of lions head, you will have a 360-degree view over the city, table mountain, the twelve apostels, the beaches and horizon. Stunning as hell.

4.

Kloof Street House - the most magic dining-place I have ever seen. Dine in the backyard of this Villa and go afterwords for drinks at the indoor bar. A mix of the hanging gardens of babylon, Peter Pans neverland and Pippi Langstrumpfs Villa Kunterbunt. Don't forget to do a reservation.

Sandy Beach - it's a walk of 20 minutes from Llandudnos last parking slot but the walk is worth it. The beach is endless with blue water and white sand. It's as uncrowded as the beaches of Greece useed to be 30 years ago. If you wanna go for a nice hike, keep going and you will find an old ship rack on the coast.
Spend the sunset at the stones between sandy bay and Llandudno. The waves that clashes against the big stones are just a magic nature game and the colours while the sunsets are incomparable.

6.

Rent a scooter and do everything in two wheels - 4 wheels mean traffic craziness from morning to night. A scoter is the best and most fun thing you can do in Cape Town. We payed € 12,– per day for a 150-scooter.
At night you take an uber then.

Do cape of good hope with the scooter - you pass the amazing Chapmans Peak drive at the coast and cruise through the national park of cape of good hope. While most of the visitors are sitting in busses with cold air condition and seeing the nature through windows, on the scooter you are one with the amazing nature up there.

8.

Do boulders beach not like it's written in your guide. If you wanna be real close to the cute penguins and you don't wanna stand in the middle of thousands of tourists looking at a stinky penguins nest, don't drive to penguin boulders beach. 200 meters further, you come to boulders swim beach area, where you arrive the famous penguins beach from the other side. There are much less people and also lonely beach parts where you can jump in the water and chill. You can see the mass of tourists on the other side and you will be so happy that you didn't land on this crowded footbridge.

Go for a sundowner at the Leopard Bar at twelve apostels hotel. Amazing terrace with ocean-view. The food and drinks are delicious and they don't do reservations for a terrace table. So just drop by.

Do museum contemporary art in a converted old silo. It's half museum, half hotel with 6 floors exhibitions of south african artists. Don't miss the rooftop with it's view over the city center, mountains and the ocean.

Step by at Oranjezicht foodmarket on saturdays. It's magic. Founded by a group of Cape Town farmers who wanna bring natural grown fruits and vegetables to the city. You can also have great lunch there and buy handmade goods and plants.

Drive to Stellenbosch for a vineyard tour. The places we liked the most for vine tasting and vine gardens chill are Warwick Vine Estate, Simonsig and Delaire Graff Estate. At Warwick you can also book a garden Picknick in the lawn.

Drive to Constantia vineyard area and visit Constantia Glen Winery and Beau Constantia. You can do all by Scooter and the best part about the tour to Constatia: you can pass the impressive Chapmens Peak road.

Climb table mountain via india venster route. It's so much more exciting then going up with the cable train. But on a pair of good outdoor shoes, take some water and sun cream and do it. There will be several signs which will say that this route it super dangerous, but its not if you are circumspect. I swear, it will be one of the best experiences you will ever have made. And no, you don’t have to be a good climber, just fit and fearless.

Hi, Kite Surfers! Sunset Beach is your place to be. And also for the best view on table mountain, you have to go to the other side of Cape Town. Sunset Beach, Table View and Big Bay are the three spots of the long, sandy coast, where you see table mountain in it’s whole beauty. If you are a kite surfer, these beaches are yours.

If you go to Stellenbosch, take the rout via Constantia and Muizenberg. It's a nice scooter ride and the colourful beach houses are super cute. Muizenberg is also a well known spot for surfing beginners - but very crowded. Don't be afraid of sharks. Muizenberg has shark watchers and the statistics show, you rather die by taking a selfie at lions head hill than get involved in a shark attack at Muizenberg.
